There was a life even before that - A story written by Neha Joshi

A man was running on the road. The road was wide ruff and shining with the asphalt laid on it years back. The man had enough of running when the sun went on his head at midday.

H was all swatting and his breath went so heavy that it was impossible even to walk a few steps. He felt a desperate need to rest, but could see nothing but black, lifeless, shining asphalt.

Not a single tree, not even a big stone or f to rest. So he continued, restless, reaked in sweat, unable to breath.

Birds watched him from the sky and said, "poor thing, he has lost the sight!".

T passerby saw him but could not stop. He thought "He has lost his ears!".

At last he fell down.

Dying, he uttered: "life made me run in such a way that I forgot everything else but running. I forgot: there was a life even before that".
